Artist Bio

Trisha (or biSha), a lifelong resident of Long Island, New York, has displayed a profound artistic skill since the age of four. She began working with acrylics in high school and later became deeply engaged with the complexities of oil paint. She started her college career at the Fashion Institute of Technology before transferring to Adelphi University, where she earned her BFA in Art Education in 2013.

After her years of teaching, Trisha became interested in real estate, which led to a new opportunity: creating commissioned home portraits as closing gifts for realtors' clients. While continuing her commission work, Trisha also found a new position working with the decorative painter Rachel Meslin. This experience allowed her to refine her painting skills through elaborate murals, faux finishes, and various types of custom paint work.

After overcoming significant medical challenges, Trisha has returned to her daily painting practice. Working from her private studio in the heart of Bay Shore, she now focuses part-time on creating visually compelling stories that translate emotional traumas into vibrant oil paintings.
